Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Forge Auto Studio, including mobile auto detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, paintless dent repair (PDR), and related automotive services. By scheduling an appointment, paying a deposit, purchasing a service, or authorizing work, the customer agrees to the following terms.
1. Estimates & Final Pricing
All advertised, online, promotional, and quoted prices may be starting prices unless specifically stated otherwise.
For detailing services, the vehicle may be inspected before work begins. Final pricing may depend on the vehicle’s size, condition, and the amount of labor and materials required.
Additional charges may apply for conditions including:
- Excessive dirt, mud, sand, or debris
- Pet hair
- Heavy staining or spills
- Odors or smoke contamination
- Excessive buildup or neglected interiors
- Biohazardous materials or bodily fluids
- Excessive trash or personal belongings
- Oversized vehicles
- Any condition requiring substantially more labor, time, or materials than a vehicle in average condition
When applicable, additional detailing charges may generally range from $50–$150+, depending on the vehicle’s condition and work required.
Forge Auto Studio will communicate any additional charges discovered during the inspection before performing the additional work. The customer may decline the additional work.
2. Deposits & Appointment Confirmation
A $50 security deposit may be required to confirm and reserve an appointment.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are applied toward the customer’s final service balance.
Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations after Forge Auto Studio has arrived and/or performed the scheduled vehicle inspection.
Rescheduling may be permitted at Forge Auto Studio’s discretion when reasonable notice is provided.
3. Mobile Service & Travel Fees
Forge Auto Studio provides mobile services within its designated service area.
Locations within 30 miles of our service area/base location may qualify for service without an additional travel fee.
For locations outside the included service radius, a travel charge may apply. When applicable, travel may be calculated at $0.72 per mile, round trip, unless another amount is disclosed before the appointment.
The customer is responsible for providing a safe, legal, and reasonably accessible location where the requested service can be performed.
4. Detailing Service Expectations
Automotive detailing is intended to significantly clean, restore, and improve the appearance of a vehicle. However, Forge Auto Studio does not guarantee that every stain, odor, scratch, defect, contamination, or imperfection can be completely removed.
Results depend on factors such as the age and condition of the vehicle, materials, previous damage, type of contamination, and how long stains or defects have been present.
5. Package Inclusions & Add-On Services
Only services specifically included in the package or work order purchased by the customer are included in the price.
Unless specifically included or purchased separately, services such as the following may be considered additional services or add-ons:
- Carpet shampooing/extraction
- Seat shampooing/extraction
- Leather cleaning and conditioning
- Heavy stain treatment
- Excessive pet-hair removal
- Odor treatment
- Paint correction
- Ceramic coating
- Other specialty restoration services
Customers should review the specific package description before purchasing or scheduling.
6. Groupon & Promotional Vouchers
Customers using a Groupon, promotional voucher, coupon, or discounted package are entitled to the services specifically listed in that offer.
A promotional purchase does not automatically include services that are not specifically listed in the offer.
Additional charges may apply when the vehicle’s condition requires substantially more labor than the package covers or when the customer requests additional services.
Any additional charges will be explained before the additional work is performed.
7. Vehicle Inspection
Forge Auto Studio may conduct a pre-service inspection and document the vehicle’s condition using photographs or video.
Existing damage may include scratches, dents, chips, cracked or damaged trim, worn materials, stains, tears, loose components, paint defects, wheel damage, or other pre-existing conditions.
Customers should disclose any known fragile, damaged, aftermarket, repaired, or malfunctioning components before service begins.
8. Personal Belongings
Customers should remove valuables, money, documents, electronics, weapons, medications, and other important personal belongings before the appointment.
Forge Auto Studio is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle unless loss or damage results from Forge Auto Studio’s negligence or misconduct.
Items left inside the vehicle may prevent certain areas from being cleaned.
9. Pre-Existing Damage & Fragile Components
Older, damaged, deteriorated, improperly repaired, aftermarket, or previously compromised components may fail during normal cleaning or repair procedures.
Forge Auto Studio is not responsible for pre-existing damage or deterioration that becomes apparent during normal service. This does not waive responsibility for damage directly caused by Forge Auto Studio’s negligence or misconduct.
10. Paint Correction & Ceramic Coatings
Paint correction improves the appearance of paint defects but may not completely remove deep scratches, rock chips, clear-coat failure, oxidation, previous bodywork defects, or damage that cannot be safely corrected.
Ceramic coating performance and longevity depend on proper maintenance, environmental exposure, vehicle usage, preparation, and adherence to aftercare instructions.
No ceramic coating makes a vehicle completely scratch-proof, rock-chip-proof, or maintenance-free.
11. Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
PDR results depend on factors including dent size, depth, location, metal condition, paint condition, previous repairs, access, and vehicle construction.
Forge Auto Studio will make reasonable efforts to achieve the best practical repair while preserving the vehicle’s original finish whenever possible. Some damage may not be completely repairable using PDR alone.
12. Weather & Mobile Appointments
Mobile appointments may need to be delayed, rescheduled, or relocated due to rain, snow, excessive wind, extreme temperatures, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances that could negatively affect the service or technician’s safety.
Forge Auto Studio will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and arrange another appointment.
13. Customer Authorization
The customer represents that they are the vehicle owner or have authorization from the owner to approve the requested services.
By authorizing work, the customer gives Forge Auto Studio permission to operate, move, start, unlock, or otherwise access the vehicle as reasonably necessary to complete the authorized service.
14. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment of the remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.
Additional services requested or approved by the customer will be added to the final balance.
15. Service Concerns
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle after service.
If there is a concern regarding the completed work, the customer should contact Forge Auto Studio as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs or other information when requested so the issue can be reviewed.
Forge Auto Studio should be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, when appropriate, correct an issue related to the services performed before outside corrective work is authorized.
16. Satisfaction & Results
Forge Auto Studio strives to provide professional results, but vehicle restoration services involve conditions that vary from vehicle to vehicle.
Payment for a service does not guarantee restoration to factory-new condition unless such a result is specifically guaranteed in writing.
17. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Forge Auto Studio reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, materially different from what was disclosed, outside the scope of the booked service, or when a customer engages in threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
If service is discontinued, charges may apply for work already completed, travel, materials used, or other reasonable costs incurred.
18. Photos & Documentation
Forge Auto Studio may photograph or record vehicles before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, training, and protection against disputes.
Photos or videos that identify the customer personally will not be used for advertising without appropriate permission. Vehicle-only before-and-after content may be used for portfolio or marketing purposes unless the customer requests otherwise before service.
19. Limitation of Terms
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, redeeming a promotional voucher, signing a work authorization, or authorizing Forge Auto Studio to begin service, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
